- 2 cup wheat flour
- 1/2 cup Semolina
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 1 tsp Ajwain seeds
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- as required water to knead
- FOR CHURMA
- 2 tbsp of ghee
- as per taste powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp chopped almonds
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- FOR DAL
- 2 cup panchmel dal(soaked)
- As needed Sliced ginger
- 2 chopped green chillies
- as required Chopped garlic
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tbsp turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped tomato
- 1 tbsp cumin seeds
- as per taste Salt
Instructions to make to make Dal Baati Churma
- Take a cooker and add soaked dal in it. Add salt,turmwric powder and red chilli powder in it. Close the lid and boil for 15 -20 minutes.
- Take a large bowl and add 2 cup wheat flour,semolina,salt, baking powder, ghee, ajwain, coriander powder and fennel seeds in it
- Now add required water and knead the dough.
Keep aside for 10minutes.
Now take a small ball sized dough and roll in round shape.Do the same and make all the bati's. - Place the rolled bati in air fryer /cooker for 15 minutes.
- Simultaneously, take a pan and add 2 tbsp ghee and add cumin seeds in it.
- Now add chopped ginger, garlic and green chilli, and chopped onion in it.stir fry for 2 minutes.
- Add chopped tomato in it. And add coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder in it and stir for 5 minutes.
Now add boiled dal in it and cook for 3-4 minutes. - Dip all the bati's in desi ghee and remove in a plate.
Dal and bati is ready. - FOR CHURMA :
take 2 prepared bati and break into mixer grinder and grind. - Make coarse powder of bati.
heat a pan and 2tbsp desi ghee and roast powdered bati till it turns golden and aromatic. - Add chopped almonds and cardamom powder in it.
Off the flame And cool the mixture completely.
add required powdered sugar and mix well.
